my darling wife was diagnosed with cancer I heard this this song on the radio in my car I recorded it while traveling to the oncologist , I miss her so so much and I have dedicated this song to her.

This is best band of the last few decades at minimum. This is my favorite song, music and lyrics move me to tears as I think of my father who passed due to a horrible spell of cancer, a disease that made the strongest man I’ve known to weak to walk. His soul is now forever free, miss you dad. And thanks to Rival Sons for this beautiful song that helps me cope.

A song that I dedicate to my Late Father who passed away 13 March 1996 at age 67 and my Late Mother who passed away 9 March 2009 at age 82 and also to my only and younger sibling, my Late Brother who passed away 25 April 2010 at age 52. They are all now on the other side of the Jordan.

The chord progression in this song is like nothing I've ever heard! I don't think I've ever listened to a song structured in the way this one is. Not in a million years could I construct a pattern like the intro, the way he switches from the F to the E (at least that's what it sounds like he's doing, if you were in standard tuning) in the verse, and have it come out so brilliant and beautiful! I can't even explain it! I could have never thought of doing such a thing. Completely mind boggling! I know a whole bunch of really famous, on top of the world star's, and I won't meantion any names out of respect, that could, and should, listen and take notes. These fellers should be where a whole bunch of em are. They are outstanding song writers.
